Misleading specs
This butter dish DOES NOT handle a standard SA 500g slab of butter.
I would not recommend this product to a friend.

I love the product, but this would teach you to read before you buy - Capacity: 250g of butter.... I was disappointed in myself for not reading as I buy 500g butter. but very beautiful

Great butter dish!
This is a lovely butter dish, very happy with it. It can fit a whole 250g, I don't think it would fit a 500g block.
