Product info
From the smallest wine production in the Luddite cellar, and boldest. Made entirely from their own Bot River fruit, this Chenin has a textured taste of citrus and stone fruit up front, then potpourri, cinnamon and ginger. Lean, but intensely flavoured by extended skin contact in open fermenters that enhanced texture, weight and complexity.
- Chenin Blanc 2024, 750ml
- 100% Chenin Blanc grown exclusively on Luddite Farm in Bot River
- Extended skin contact in open fermenters enhances texture, weight and complexity
- Around 30% of the wine spends 30 days on its skins, building texture and weight
- Matured for 12 months in older oak, keeping the fruit pure while adding subtle depth
- Aromas of citrus, stone fruit, potpourri, cinnamon and ginger with a delicate, waxy character
- Lean yet intensely flavourful, with vibrant acidity, layered texture and a dry, lightly grippy finish

Care instructions
- Should be stored in a cool, dark place with a consistent temperature, ideally around 12–15°C, to preserve character and longevity
- Bottles should be kept on their side to keep the cork moist, preventing air from seeping in
- Avoid direct sunlight, vibration, and fluctuating temperatures, as these can damage the wine’s quality over time
