I cannot deny the quality of the item. However, the design is a bit lacking. The turner is so thick that it's only comfortable to turn hefty food items that would be easier to use silicone tongs. It's not flexible enough for any kind of fine work, spreading or scraping. The nylon leading edge is far too rigid and should be silicone.

If you are turning some thick burgers or steaks this is for you. But for any other application, I would recommend looking elsewhere. There are far more versatile options at a fraction of the price. Read more

Lovely product, firm enough to use with my wok for frying vegetables. However, not the best as a pancake or egg turner as the edge is quite thick.

Bought this specifically for my Le Creuset nonstick pans and I am just wondering if the hard part (black) won't scratch the nonstick pans.

Le Creuset says you shouldn't use hard plastics that are not bendable on their non-stick pans but now they are selling spatulas with hard plastics...perhaps the silicone edge is enough to protect the non-stick. We will have to wait and see!

It's got a soft silicone edge, so it doesn't scratch your pots and pans, baking trays whatever else. It's not very thick so it's easy to get under stuff and it's not very thin so it's sturdy and reliable for holding stuff. It's heat resistant and doesn't melt (at least not at reasonable temperatures, it might melt if it were left on a hotplate or in the oven or whatnot).

It has a pretty long handle for an egg lifter spatula thing, so it needs a deep drawer. The design or rather the shape of the handle is somewhere between "eighteen hundreds period old copper spatula" and "materials used to make the SpaceX Dragon Capsule". The egg lifty bit is orange and dark grey and the rest is black.

I see the Le Creuset marketing department has called it "Flame", have you ever thought what colours would be called if Franz Kafka worked in their marketing department? "Anguish", "Malaise", "Parasite", anyway this one is a nice bright orange and it's named "Flame".

I'd recommend this to anyone who has cooked eggs to lift. Read more
