Le Creuset Stoneware Batter Bowl, 2L

I bought this batter bowl with the Lekue Waffle Moulds. The best combination. The bowl is just the right size for a batter, with space to mix without spilling. The handle is comfortable and the spout is great for pouring.

Great gift idea too!

A lovely batter bowl. Perfect to make waffle or pancake mixture, pours perfectly. Would be a wonderful present for a food fanatic! The only problem I have is chosing which colour to buy!

This is the perfect gift for your girlfriends that love to bake and have fun in their kitchen.

I am very happy with my purchase. This product is really quality made. It's not heavy so portions batter is easy. Only use silicone spoons, etc to mix else you will get ring marks from mixing.

I just love it - my friends and family love my creme brulee and seldom let me make any other dessert so I make it often and pouring the mixture into the ramekins is just perfect now, no mess no fuss and I just LOVE all things Le Creuset!! :) ha ha, just noticed my profile pic... making creme brulee!!

Best bowl ever, handle and spout is pure baking genius.

I am so in love with how smart it is...
I want to use this bowl for everything, like salads, baking breads, flowers, planting herbs, Hold candles... you get the idea!

I want to buy them in every colour - but keep falling back to the purple...

This is well worth the money - deep enough that flour sifted into it doesn't go everywhere and light enough to lift easily when you want to pour the batter out.

I use this batter bowl every time I bake - it is just the right size. I would highly recommend this product to you.

Le Creuset has a reputation for quality, and for good reason. This batter bowl is simply perfect. Solid enough to allow for whipping, beating and even a stick blender, but light enough to pick up and pour.

I purchased this bowl with one thing in mind, and that was to be able to use it for pouring the custard for my ice cream base into my ice cream churner. The pouring spout is long enough to do this with ease and there was no mess anywhere! I cannot wait to use it the next time I bake a cake.

Hands covered in flour and butter trying to secure the bowl and thereafter attempting to keep all contents within the mixer is a major juggling effort. The handle and the spout and in your chosen colour makes baking all that more pleasurable.

I recently bought this batter bowl and I have no regrets whatsoever. I enjoy the convenience of mixing and pouring using one utensil. The variety of colours is remarkable, showing off a bit of colour in the kitchen.

This bowl is the perfect size for most of the mixing I do for our meals and seems quite deep so it doesn't splash easily. It beats my other bowls hands down due to it's handle and pouring lip which mean it's easy to add the contents to a pan, etc. with only one hand and it doesn't mess.

I also think the price is really very reasonable for the quality of the product.

Stunning bowl to start off with! The white of the cotton is SO beautiful! Awesomely useful size too!

I was fairly disappointed the second time I used it to whip cream with my electric hand beater to discover that it leaves grey streaks / marks where the beaters have traveled. I'm not one to fuss too much about stuff like that, since it will at least look like I use it, but just disappointed.

The other matter that bothers me is it's weight. It feels strong and sturdy, which is good, but it's perhaps a tad too heavy to my liking to use for pouring with one hand when full. Read more

In the bowl there is a little hole where the handle attaches. This means some batter or ingredients get stuck in it and i need to remove it using a small utensil. I'm not sure if they are all like this, but I was told it was normal. Had I known about it, I probably would have not bought it. It's great otherwise (colour and quality).

My Mum has one and I absolutely love it, great shape and size. When I received mine the design has been changed — it is much heavier, rounder and thicker. I'm sure it will be fine but I am a bit disappointed.

It’s beautiful. It’s useful. Most of all - it has a pouring lip, which makes a huge difference when pouring batter into a muffin pan or cake tin. Much less of a mess. In love with our batter bowl.
