I love my Le Creuset Salt Pig, it sits next to my stove and is really gorgeous. I was a bit worried that the salt would harden being exposed, but it has not hardened at all in the past three months that I have been using it. The opening is perfectly engineered to stop any debris getting in, and the salt is always in perfect condition to use in your cooking, and as I have said before it is really pretty too.
I love this product so much I bought one for my favourite Aunt, who has never experienced the quality of Le Creuset before and I am sure she will adore it. Read more

I used to keep my salt in the bag, in the box it came in. That worked just fine. A salt pig is not a necessary kitchen item. Until you buy one and realise you can't live without it. It's so much more stylish than a cardboard box, and so much more convenient too. I love this. And it's Le Creuset, which is beautiful and always good quality. Can't go wrong.

The salt keeper is very trendy in my kitchen, and the shape of the hole in the front is large enough to get my hand into comfortably, to get the right amount of salt out of. I just love my new Salt Keeper.

I am so thrilled with my Salt Keeper. I have always wanted one. I recently bought a box of Maldon salt flakes and they really do keep nice and dry in the Salt Keeper.

Living in Kwa-Zulu Natal you have to put up with wet salt when the humidity hits. Not any more this is a beautiful looking salt keeper, and trust me it keeps the salt dry.

I've been wanting one of these for years, and the wait was absolutely worth it. I have no idea how it works, or why it works, but my salt stays dry! And it looks fantastic in my kitchen.
*Note: Himalayan salt is the only exception. It clumps.
