I am new at bread baking and found that many bakers recommended this item on their You Tube channels. I decided to order one as I felt I needed every bit of assistance I could get to help me with mixing the dough. I enjoy using the product and have found it a big help. This product is just one of those all-rounder sorts. You can use it for its intended purpose of scraping and cutting dough or you can use it to;
- scrape up items you want to throw into a pan from a cutting board
- pressing icing sugar to the tip of an icing bag
- help to clean up your work surface
- a levelling tool for certain food items

When you go from using a rusting paint scraper (don't tell my guests) to using this, you can only win. It's a piece of plastic, it doesn't need WD40/Q20 from time to time...

I would just warn my friend to look at the measurements as it is much smaller than what the picture portrays. It is still usable but we expected it to be bigger.
