KitchenAid Fruit & Vegetable Strainer Attachment for Stand Mixer

The KitchenAid Fruit and Vegetable Strainer must be used in combination with the KitchenAid food grinder attachment and uses the power of the KitchenAid stand mixer. A strainer cone, a strainer tray and a splash shield fit onto the food grinder for processing and puréeing soft fruits and cooked vegetables to make foods such as jams, purées, sauces and baby food. It strains the food to a purée and separates any pips, stems or skins, this means it’s not necessary to peel or core any product before putting into the hopper.

Whats in the box?

• Never feed food by hand, always use the food susher
• Dishwasher safe components: Strainer cone, strainer shield, food pusher, collar, removable tray, splash lid
• Turn the stand mixer off (and detach the attachment from the stand mixer) after each use of the attachment and before cleaning. Make sure motor stops completely before disassembling

To Strain Fruits and Vegetables:

• Cut into pieces that will fit into hopper
• Remove tough, thick skin or rind, such as oranges
• Remove all large pits from fruits and vegetables such as peaches
• Remove hulls or stems, such as strawberries or grapes
• Cook all tough or firm fruits and vegetables before straining
