Kenwood Twist Adaptor for Bar Machines

Difficult to rate this adapter: either you need it, and then you HAVE to buy it, or you don't need it, and then you don't buy it.
Like said in another review, I'm globally very satisfied of my Kenwood Chef, but I must say that this front tooling has always made me think they could have done better: whatever you plug in there (fruit pressing extension for example) are moving a lot, because they are held only by the axis. Having to use this adapter only makes it worse: the lever is really, really long. I bought it for the meat grinder extension, and the whole thing moves A LOT when grinding.
Does it work? Yes, so far, so good. But it raises doubts in my mind on the long term. Read more

Both attachments work just fine.

If it were not for this adapter I would not have been able to use the fantastic spiralizer from Kenwood. Very grateful.

I would have thought that since this is a Kenwood product, it would fit perfectly on my Titanium Chef. It does what it is supposed to and I am able to use the newer type twist attachments with my older machine. My problem is that it does not seem to fit deep enough into the slow speed outlet. It is almost like it is some kind of aftermarket part. I use it for the new model juicer that Kenwood released, and since the bar attachment does not seem to fit perfectly, it is already wearing out the bar connector slightly. Read more
