Its unique angled cutting surface is designed to assist in the collection and drainage of liquids or food and it has an integral meat grip on one side of the board to assist when carving.

Changed the way meat is served in our house
This is probably my best buy of this year. The silicone slip-proof edge makes tackling larger pieces of meat easy and the fact that the juices don't wastefully go running off the side of the board is a huge plus. I didn't bother to transfer the roast we had the other day to a platter, just served it on the tray - works for me!

Where has this been all my life?
Ok, not ALL of my life, but certainly the formative roast-carving years. Honestly, we have battled with the age-old problem of the errant juices of each delicious roast we have ever made. A cut above
I didn't realise how useful this carving board had become, until I spent some time without them. Excellent for carving roasts, raw meat and any food that expels juices or liquid when carved, or when removed from a pot.

Works better than advertised, but...
This product is a blessing in our house. No more breadcrumbs all over the place, and it works even better than advertised for roasts with a very well designed grip surface. The biggest value is that we're using it one side for vegetarian, the other side for meat, and you never forget which side is which. A must have!
When it comes to chopping boards Joseph Joseph knows what they are doing. Bought the large chop 2 pot and now got the carving board. No more meaty juices on the counter when carving that medium rare steak or roast chicken. Plus it is slip resistant and the little teeth really keep the meat in place.
