This product is a blessing in our house. No more breadcrumbs all over the place, and it works even better than advertised for roasts with a very well designed grip surface. The biggest value is that we're using it one side for vegetarian, the other side for meat, and you never forget which side is which.

However, as clever as this product is, its biggest downfall is that cutting on plastic always looks worse than any other cutting surface. It's a catch 22, as no other material would have been able to allow this design, so it's something I will have to live with. In hindsight, I should have saved this cutting board just for roast cutting, which would have preserved it better, but then again, I would miss the very principle of one board that does it all.

I love this product, but it comes with a note that it won't look as good after just two weeks. Maybe in another colour (other than black showing greyish cut marks) it won't look as bad, but I'll leave it to those owners to review. For me, it still works better than advertised, and only because of the fairly high price showing cut marks so quickly does it get a lowish 3 stars. Read more

I have had a good few cutting boards ranging from flexible plastic to heavy wooden ones and everything in between but this is definitely the best. The slope works 100% for holding juices and I also use it as a reservoir for oil/ lemon juice etc. when I am cooking outside. It also has a non-slip edge on both sides. Highly recommended.

This is the best chopping board I have owned. Finally a board that keeps a roast from slipping whilst carving and also keeping messy juice in check. Brilliant! Wish I'd had one years ago.

Excellent board. Quite large so difficult to fit in dishwasher, so I put it on top of stuff in upper basket. I wanted a carving board and this one is very good. Also good for cutting and chopping. I hope it will last a long time.

What a handy kitchen cutting board - it works equally well whether cutting a crusty loaf or carving a roast. The rubberised edging prevents slipping and sliding and all the juices are kept on the cleverly shaped board. I chose the delicious lime green colour.

Hubby was a bit sceptical when he saw the board the first time "I think all the goodies you bought from Yuppiechef are great but I think this one looks a bit like a white elephant". That was before he used it for the first time. Now he thinks it is the best thing since sliced toast and the board is really working very hard!! Works great and looks good!

Don't use sharp knives

This a great looking board and the raised edges are such a good idea! However, when you are carving with a sharp knife, you cut straight into the raised points which secure the meat in place which leaves the board looking a bit scruffy.

The spikes on one side of the chopping board make carving really easy.
The juice / crumb capture means that there's less mess made every time I use this chopping board.

As soon as I saw this product, I knew it needed to go into my cart. I hate cleaning the mess after slicing meat or juicy fruit on a conventional chopping board. The grip that allows one to anchor a piece of meat before slicing is ingenious and the rim that collects juices before they run onto a kitchen counter is a first in my experience. This is by far the most convenient carving and chopping board for everything that is juicy - from a roast to juicy fruits. It catches all the juices and it is easy to pour them out. The only downside is that the board marks easily and you have many cutting marks on it if you use it as regularly as my family does.

My husband told me about this amazing chopping board that is specifically for cutting roasts. I searched everywhere and I just couldn't find this "wonder board". A good friend recommended Yuppiechef and there it was. I didn't think twice, I ordered it and within a couple of days I had my new carving board.

It is a well thought out and designed product. Very robust and does the job well, and a pleasure to use. Also, I love the colour. Only one tiny hitch is that it doesn't fit into our dishwasher but what the heck, it only takes a minute to do by hand.

Very good design but the finish was not the best. It will be interesting to see how this plastic finish stands up to continual use. After first use I notice one or two dimples were damaged by the knife.

This chopping board is one of the best kitchen items you could ever own. With the one side for carving meat and the other for normal chopping. The brilliant thing about this board is the edge to catch any juices so they don't spill onto the counter. I would highly recommend this product.

This carving board is really practical. There are no juice spills on your kitchen work space, especially ideal for resting meat. It's multi-functional since you can use the one side for meat carving and the other side for other carving such as vegetables. The meat side has a nice grip area to ease the slicing without any sliding of the meat.

The only downside is that the board is a bit too big to fit in a standard dish washing machine. Read more

This is the second carving /cutting tray from Joseph Joseph, which I have bought.
I love the design and its practicality, the available colours
are trendy and lovely to have in the kitchen.
However (sorry) the material is not optimal, it scratches very easily , no matter what knife is being used, and very quickly the cutting board looks old and quite frankly unhygienic.
Why did I buy it again? Purely for the fact that it was a gift for my friend who has always wanted one (against my advice) loves the design and has accessories in the same pea green. Read more

I specifically bought this product to cut meat on, but have been using the flip side a lot for everyday chopping - it is convenient that it is relatively large, and the rim on one side helps keep the onions etc. on the board. Very happy with my purchase!

I am very happy with the style and appearance of the product and its effectiveness for holding and carving small to medium joints of meat and retaining liquid. For large joints, there is not enough room around the joint on the board to park unwanted fat, skin, or bones or to keep slices on the board and had there been a larger version, I would have bought that instead.

A good quality product which does the job perfectly. It's dishwasher safe which makes it even more attractive. The only downside — the green board is not exactly the green I imagined so perhaps would have gone for a different colour.

Lovely sized carving board that does not drip onto your tablecloth. It looks smart enough so you can do your carving at the table. You can flip it over and use the other side as well, very versatile.
