Amelia Jackson Industries came about in 1989, after the owners purchased cotton rugs in Zimbabwe a few years earlier. Seeing the good value and the fact that the rugs were machine washable, they decided that there was an opening for good quality cotton rugs in South Africa. The authenticity, classic designs and durable materials of Amelia Jackson will bring any room together beautifully.

Amelia Jackson Industries is a Cape Town-based weaver who works with predominantly cotton yarns, using the age-old method of hand weaving on old timber looms. All their products are locally sourced and produced by local artisans.

Practical bedside rug
Lovely versatile rug. Perfect as a bedside rug. They are washable, unfortunately they shrunk after first (cold) wash! At least 3-5cm shorter now. I am however considering to get some more.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

Bathroom elegance!
Both colours are absolutely stunning. Make your bathroom look gorgeous, and so amazing to stand on — feels like cushy clouds under your feet! And wash 100% perfectly in the washing machine!
