Considering that you can make almost anything in an Instant Pot Duo Smart Cooker, having a spare inner pot is very useful. This heavy gauge ceramic non-stick cooking pot comes in handy when you need to prepare an accompaniment dish to the main meal you are cooking in your Instant Pot. It heats evenly and efficiently, and is coated with a thick ceramic non-stick coating. This coating is free from PTFE, PFOA and other harmful chemicals found in other plastic coated non-stick inner pots. At the end of cooking it washes up easily by hand or can be placed in the dishwasher.

Non-stick inner pot
When I initially bought this I though that it was the pot in a pot for my instant pot, so I wrongly thought that it was a pot I could use as a bain marie to cook rice with a stew... It's not, it is a non-stick inner pot to use instead of your stainless steel inner you got when you bought your IP, a nice to have rather than a have to have.

Love my Instant Pot Accesories
Very useful non-stick inner pot to use when slow cooking or just sautéing. Together with the glass lid makes slow cooking easy and you can see what's going on!

Totally disappointed.
I'm totally disappointed with the pot. It's definitely not non- stick as the description. I cooked a few times with it and it stuck to the bottom even though it had sufficient water in it.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry the pot hasn't met your expectations. We had it inspected by the supplier, who confirmed it's in good working order. They did note that ceramic inner pots can be more prone to sticking than traditional non-stick coatings, particularly with foods like rice, oats, or eggs, and factors such as heat level and cooking method can also play a role.
