1. Promoter

The promoter of the Ooni Karu 12 competition is Yuppiechef Online (PTY) LTD with its registered address at 14 Stibitz Street, Westlake, Western Cape, 7945 and with registration number 2007/021383/07.

2. Who may enter

2.1 Entry into this Competition is open to the Promoter's customers who are above the age of 18 years and in possession of a valid Identity Document or passport with a temporary or permanent residence permit for South Africa and with a valid delivery address in South Africa. Any employee, director, member, partner, agent, consultant of, or person directly in control of or controlled by the Promoter, their suppliers, service providers, and/or associated companies are not eligible to participate in this Competition.

3. Agreement and amendments to these terms and conditions

3.1 By entering this Competition, you agree to be bound by the rules, which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding.

3.2 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend, or terminate this Competition and any Prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason deemed reasonably necessary.

3.3 The Promoter reserves the right to extend the duration of the Competition period in the event that the minimum number of qualifying entries for the competition has not been received. 

4. Competition period

4.1 This Competition commences at 00:01 on Monday, 24 February 2025, and ends at 23:59 on Sunday, 9 March 2025 (both days inclusive). Any entries received after the closing date will be invalid and will not be considered.

5. Prize/s

5.1 By entering this Competition, you agree to sign up to receive Yuppiechef newsletters and be contacted about deals and new product releases.

5.2 The Prize shall be distributed to 1(One) winner selected via a random "lucky" draw.

5.3 The Prize is not transferable by the winner and may not be deferred, changed, or exchanged for cash or any other item.

5.4 Although the Promoters have taken care to make sure that the Prize is of good quality, subject to the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), the Promoters do not give any warranties about the Prize, and by participating in this Competition, you agree to accept the Prize “as is”. Subject to applicable law, you also indemnify the Promoters against any damages that anyone may suffer as a result of the use of the Prize or participation in this Competition, including consequential and economic loss.

5.5 The value of the Prize includes VAT, and the Prize will be given to the winner at the ruling price, which is available to any customer on the day that the item is purchased from the participating store.

6. How to enter

6.1 You will automatically be entered into the Competition when you sign up to receive Yuppiechef newsletters.

6.2 You may enter this Competition only once and are only eligible for 1 (One) Prize under this Competition.

6.3 To enhance your chances of winning, just share the competition with your friends and family using the link in your entry confirmation email. You'll earn extra entries for each successful subscription they make.

6.4 Your entry will be withdrawn if it does not meet the qualifying criteria set out in these terms and conditions.

7. Winner/s

7.1 From the qualifying entries, there will be 1 (One) winner randomly drawn from all qualifying entries received online.

7.2 The results containing the winners name will be published on the Promoters’ website and other media. The winner has the right to decline their name being published.

7.3 The winner will be required to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the Prize.

8. Accuracy of information

8.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided by or on behalf of you to the Promoters is accurate, complete, and up-to-date at all times.

8.2 The Promoters will notify the winner of the Prize by contacting them via the email address used to enter. If, after all reasonable steps are taken to contact any winner, the winner cannot be contacted within the prescribed period of time, then the winner will be automatically disqualified and a second draw will be held where the procedure as set out above will be repeated.

8.3 Winners will be contacted within 5 working days from the date of the competition closing and no later than 14 March 2025.

8.4 Winners will have until 19 March 2025 to respond and accept their prize.

9. Redemption of the Prize

9.1 The Promoter will arrange for the delivery of the Prize to each winner's designated address within the Republic of South Africa.

9.2 The prize delivery is subject to the availability of the Ooni Karu 12 + Gas attachment  and will be delivered based on the supplier's stock availability at the time.
