The Global G series is Global's classic collection of larger, longer bladed knives with weighted hollow handles. The GS series is a classic collection of small to medium-sized knives for general and special preparation. This 5 piece set contains knives from both ranges, including a chef's knife, bread knife, vegetable knife, flexible utility knife and a paring knife, making it an excellent selection for most kitchen tasks.

- G-9 Bread Knife:Â large, serrated knife, great for slicing foods with thick crusts or rinds like artisan breads and melons
- GS-5 Vegetable Knife:Â also known as a Nakiri knife, Japanese-style square-tip knife, great for chopping meat, root vegetables and big prep jobs
- GS-11 Flexible Utility Knife: great for boning and skinning smaller meats and fish, the soft bend of the flexible blade makes it easier to cut around bones, also good for slicing through delicate fruitÂ
- GS-38 Paring Knife:Â a multipurpose small knife that is great for hand peeling, precision cutting, slicing and detail cuts

Care Instructions
- Not dishwasher safe, hand wash with mild detergent
- Hand wash your knife directly after use to prevent staining, food build-up and discolouration
- Don't use corrosive detergents or harmful chemicals when washing your knife
- Dry your knife thoroughly once it’s cleaned to prevent rust spots
- Don't use your knife to chop or slice through frozen food, bones or non-food materials

Global knives come with a limited lifetime guarantee and they will repair or replace any Global knife found to have defects in workmanship or materials after thorough inspection. This guarantee assumes proper treatment, care (as outlined in the care instructions) and intended use of the knives and doesn’t include dropping the knife on a hard surface nor normal wear and tear that comes with time and use.
