Gluehwein Ice Cream
I want to make the icecream Gluehwein. If I cannot get Star Aniseed, can I use powder instead and how much?

Star Aniseed is available at most the stores that I've looked. Spar, Woolworths, etc. Get the real thing
Thank you Lawrence. I used the powder instead but have since thrown the recipe away as I will not make it again. It was a total disaster as it would not get thick. I then beat up the egg whites and kind of saved it.
You should have used the Star Aniseed instead of powder. Thanks
