Hi Liezel,

If I'm using cookie cutters, I like to use my condensed milk cookie recipe. It holds the shape well, but I'm not sure if the indents from the lettering will still show after baking, as they do puff up slightly. (due to the baking powder in the recipe)

You can always leave the baking powder out, they will still be delicious. Also with whatever recipe you choose to use, make sure your dough has had time to chill in the fridge before you cut it if you want it to hold its shape.

You can find my recipe here - http://jesska.co.za/2012/12/30/condensed-milk-cookies/
