The orchid, that most delicate and architectural of blooms, finally has a home designed specifically to optimise its growth.
With two bowls nested in one, the plant well and the water well, and filaments joining the plant well and the water well, the aerophytic orchid can pull exactly the amount of moisture it needs from the water below.
Never again will you drown (or dehydrate) your delicate orchid. Simply remove from the pot you bought it in, shake any soil loose and pop in into the top well of the pot. Add some orchid growing medium (they are aerophytes, so it's ok if some roots stand outside the growing medium), and use the hole on the side to add water to the well beneath.
As long as you keep some water in the well at all times, and feed the plant at the recommended intervals, it should thrive.

Flourishing orchid
I gave this to my husband as a birthday present to kickstart his new orchid growing hobby. The orchid in the Eva Solo pot is doing far better than all the other orchids. Best of all, the pot is attractive, and when we go on holiday, it waters itself. Highly recommended!

Going potty
In theory this is a great container for orchids. The design and the look is great, but this is where it ends. The part where the orchid fits into, is too small so the plant sticks out over the top. The base is rounded instead of flat making the plant unstable and wobbly. The water does seem to get sucked up from the bottom, But it's too early to tell if the orchid will thrive. Very pretty, very zen
This is my second orchid pot, I love it in brown, very natural, very zen. I'd give it five stars if it was a bit cheaper, and bigger. As it is, only smaller plants can fit in it. Still, looks very nice, works very well.

Best-ever orchid pot
This is the 3rd one I have bought over the years. No orchid has ever died on me again since using this cleverly designed orchid pot. My oldest orchid in an Eva Solo pot is now 6 years old and still going strong.
