Stick it to the man

This is a really great stick blender. It feels really sturdy and has a nice weight. I used it to make this tomato soup: http://www.yuppiechef.com/spatula/making-the-most-of-your-magimix-roasted-tomato-soup/

It reduced with ease 2 whole red onions to shreds, and made light work of liquidising 2L of soup in a cast iron cocotte in a matter of seconds. The greatest thing about this blender is that there is zero downward suction as it blends, so you don't make any mess fighting to keep blending at a constant height. This blender is as effective as it is good looking.

The blade in the chopping jug comes out quite easily though, but otherwise a great investment. Read more
