Product Info

Clongs are click-lock tongs that sit up off your kitchen surface so that both tongs and surfaces stay clean and hygienic. Just like a click pen, open your Clongs with the push of a click button, then hold them closed and push the click button again to lock them closed. Clongs have a clever bend in their handles to sit them up off your kitchen countertop, which can also be used to rest them on the edge of your pan.

- the closing/locking mechanism works well, I use it each time I put the tongs down
- putting it down on the counter is also possible because the end used to grab the food is elevated

It does not perform as in the product description! NOT as easy to use as it makes out to be. The “advert” for the tongs say “use it with a click of a button”. I have found when you squeeze the tongs closed, they clip closed which makes releasing or putting down what ever one has picked up impossible to place down without pulling out the clip at the base of the tongs – thereby needing 2 h Read more

Great buy - I use this for most of my cooking as it is versatile, functional and good quality. I bought this to replace the same product I had purchased many years ago (well over five) which speaks to the high quality. The click function allowing you to lock the tongs in place works well, and the built-in counter stand is convenient.

Great tongs. Easy to clean and non-scratch, with escapement lock keeping them closed to reduce storage space. Silicone grips non-slip, so all good!

These tongs are very cleverly designed. The opening/closing clip is hands-free and the kink in the handle means they don't drip on the counter top. I'm thinking of chaining them to the kitchen drawer so that they don't disappear outside to the braai.

I bought this product because I needed silicone tongs that would not scratch my newly acquired airfryer. The 1st day it worked great, then each time I pick-up something, the locking mechanism springs into action automatically and you can't release whatever you've just picked up. With one hand holding the hot airfryer basket, you are now stuck and need to free up your hand to open the tongs again. Read more
