Cuisinart spice grinder is worth every cent and promises to be an indispensable gadget. So far, it's made quick work of finely chopping parsley and rocket, as well as dried chillies for chilli flakes. It's compact, easy to use and clean.

Grinds very well - chops less so.

This product is excellent for grinding spices - they can be finely ground or rough ground. It grinds nuts into a nut flour very well - but it does not work at chopping nuts (a real pity for me) ... many of the nuts become a 'flour', even when pulsing and pulsing.

Only spice grinder that I could find with a thermal cut-off on the motor. It doesn't just burn out and die if it's pushed a little bit beyond its limits.

Far better than others but not perfect. Probably the best product of its kind available at the moment.

I bought this several months ago based on research and online reviews.

I have a little coffee grinder thingy that I've used for my spices, but I wanted something that could also handle wet ingredients, opening up the world of curry pastes in addition to curry powders.

I bought it on special several months ago, and it is beautiful, and I'm sure very functional.

I've had the cheaper coffee/spice grinders but they do not even compare one bit to the Cuisinart. I use it daily, chopping garlic and ginger for stir-fries, nuts and semi-sundried chipotles which my "cheap" grinder would only spin around.

The bowl sizes are great too. Buy it and thank me later.
