About Ma Mere

Ma Mere Confections has grown from a single market trestle table and a staff contingent of one into a fully-fledged factory operation employing 12 happy, hard-working confectioners and confectioners-in-training. Products are made traditionally, in a slow and precise manner, handcrafted using only the best ingredients. The processes Ma Mere uses in making sweets are not dissimilar to those their mothers used, adding an element of nostalgia that sweetens the old heartstrings.

This is the tastiest nougat I've ever had. You can actually taste all the ingredients- not like other "flavoured" nougats. Yumminess all round.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

I was a little disappointed with this product. The packaging was great, and I bought it as a gift and one for myself as well. I found that there were hardly any cranberries or nuts in the product and that is why I was disappointed. It may just have been the particular one I ate, but I would not re purchase in case it happens again. I would rather try a different flavour.

Although this nougat has a good chewy texture, it is too sweet. Another reviewer commented that there are too few almonds and cranberries, and I would agree. For this price, I expect plenty of the 'fillings'.
