Wow it works wonders! I have small hands and sometimes a big jar is quite a problem. No with my Jarkey! It does the job wonderfully! And if my hands are wet/oily - Jarkey does the trick too!

This BRIX JARKEY jar opener is a lifesaver. I used to longingly look at the pickle jar and after trying half a dozen other openers I would simply have to go without the pickles - Until now - for the single lady, this "JARKEY" jar opener is the next best thing to having a partner, to open the jars of course. Fabulous, is all I can say.

Being a single lady, there is not always a strong man to open my jars for me!

This is the one gadget that you have to have. It is so simple yet so extremely effective and easy to use. How did I ever survive without it? A colleague recommended this. Annoyed that it showed the product as red, blue or green - no option is given as to the which of these you would like - yet I received 2 horrible yellow openers which was not even shown on the website.
I would not have ordered if I knew they only had yellow in stock - it's a nasty yellow.

I was a bit skeptical when I bought this product. I've tried other methods for opening jars but always end up waiting for someone stronger to come along and open bottles and jars for me. Very irritating. This jar opener is such a find. It opens bottles and jars quickly and easily, and doesn't require any brute strength at all. I am thrilled that I bought it.

I have tried it on a few jars with no real success. It is a very simply constructed product but not a solution for all jars.
Would have liked some sort of instruction on the packaging because at one stage I thought I was using it incorrectly.

Interesting little tool for opening jars — by just inserting the lip of the tool under the lid of the jar and lifting, it breaks the vacuum seal and makes it easy to open the jar. I had not seen this before but after watching some videos and reading good reviews decided I had to try it myself. The product is well made and really does make jar opening easier.

The JarKey has a light, bright, sturdy design that is extremely practical addressing the fundamental issue that keeps a lid from coming off a jar or bottle, the vacuum. There are other products that are intended to open jars that are more costly and involved, and so more likely to break, something that I've experienced. The JarKey is such a good product that I bought 9 more to give away as gifts. Even my wife enjoys using it. Read more

I needed a second one of these jar openers. They are really great. Helps to open both new and old jars that are sometimes sticky.

Maybe a bit expensive but it sure does the job. I used the PostNet option for shipping - brilliant! My item came so quickly.

As an 81-year-old woman, I find opening jars very difficult. I bought a Brix Jarkey Opener at a shop in Hemingways, East London and I was delighted to see that Yuppiechef also supplied this very special product.

I ordered 3 Brix Jarkey openers for three special ladies in my family.

I always struggle to open jars and all of the other jar openers I've tried have worked on a grip concept which is not that effective and still needs strength. The idea of breaking the vacuum seal is brilliant. Love this product.

This little gadget is flipping amazing and works like a charm! There I was pouring boiling water over jar tops that wouldn't budge — just stayed 'stuck' — nearly spraining my wrist! Worried stiff that the jars would explode from the boiling water!
