Position your JarKey against the rim of a lid and gently lift the key until middle of the lid pops up, releasing the air vacuum.
What might also help is moving the key around the rim of the lid and lifting gently at a couple of other points until the lid can be easily unscrewed. The world's easiest and most highly rated jar opener!

This product is a MUST in every kitchen! It's such a great gadget, I have bought 10 so that I can give these to my sisters, sister-in-law, aunt & girlfriends this Christmas. So affordable and they'll soon find that it' the best present ever.

Gadget for Gran

The best thing since slice bread
This is the best gift any woman can ask for! No more struggling with jars that don't want to open, no more frustration cause you can't get it open... with the Brix JarKey Jar opener - you will wonder what you ever did without it! Makes opening tight jars an absolute breeze!

Excellent product
Excellent product. Have tried numerous other products and none work nearly as well. Would definitely recommend for senior people whose wrists may not be as strong as they were.

Jarkey is brilliant.
I have found JarKey to be an excellent tool when trying to open lids of bottles with very little effort. Excellent for hard to open lidded containers, for older people and for people with arthritis of grip issues. I've had 3 of them and my only gripe would be that the plastic ridge that lifts the lift breaks off eventually. I still love the quick and easy fix to open lids!
