The Bodum range of coffee plungers is vast and the description of spare parts is not well defined. I purchased the wrong one (the one I need is out of stock). This is not a Yuppiechef problem. It should be addressed by Bodum, identifying items by product number etc. instead of just size.
Be sure before you purchase!

I was so happy when I saw this Bodem replacement. I'd chipped my original, and it seemed a waste to throw the whole thing away just because of the glass. The old jug was a mission to get out (we ended up breaking it to get it out). But the new one slid in easily and stays in place. The spout is also better than my previous one.

It was such a relief to find these in supply here in South Africa. My husband and I can't live without our French press, and let's just say it was a dismal day in our house when I broke the glass beaker. But we found spares on Yuppiechef and, upon placing an order, received our replacement beaker in just 2 days. All is right in our coffee world again.

Was so sad when I broke my original Bodum beaker but so happy to discover that Yuppiechef stocks spares! This actually fits better in the holder than the original. It still takes a bit of time to fit but just be patient and fit slowly.

Honestly, I don’t know what I’d do without this product.

I'm happy to finally source the Bodum glass beakers. However, it took hours of scrolling to find the right one.

Please add better product descriptions. There are so many types of presses, Brazilian etc. Previously bought a 4-cup beaker instead of an 8-cup. The Bodum stock is erratic. May need to switch to a stainless steel press instead.

After not ordering the correct size replacement glass I had to wait until new stock had arrived months later.

Finally, I ordered the item after a long wait. Expensive, but worth it eventually. Will be very careful not to break it!
