Got a Moka Express stovetop pot? With continuous use, the rubber seal on the filter plate in your shiny coffee pot, will need to be replaced.

These original Bialetti replacements, made of heavy-duty professional grade aluminum, are your best bet by far, and are dishwasher safe.

Make sure you select the correct gasket for the size pot you have, by measuring your gasket ring from the rubber seal outer edge to outer edge:

1 cup gasket set: 5cm
2 cup gasket set: 5.6cm
3 cup gasket set: 6.5cm
6 cup gasket set: 7cm
9 cup gasket set: 8cm
12 cup gasket set: 9cm

I've used this 12 cup gasket on my 18 cup Moka pot and it works fine (no leaking). It doesn't fit as tight as I suppose it should but it still works fine.

I ordered this Bialetti Gasket & Filter kit for a no-name brand espresso kettle for which I could not find spares. Unfortunately the sizes do not match. I purchased the slightly smaller Bialetti gaskets in blind hope but I should have rather bought slightly bigger and trimmed them down to size.

I've got a 3 cup Moka pot that I bought in 2017.

I've bought the 3/4 cup gasket, the 2 cup AND 1 cup gasket and none of them fit the coffee machine. I've heard the same from some friends, where the seal doesn't work properly and the water just boils in the base.

Really sad as I have no idea what to do with my 3 cup now.

I accidentally left my Bialetti moka pot on the stove for way too long and it was a burnt mess. Luckily the only damage was to the silicone gaskets, which was easy to replace, and comes in a pack of three - in case there are similar events in the future - or you just wear them out over time.
