It opens with lifted notes of black cherry, cedarwood, and spice, before unfolding into dark plum and soft cocoa on the palate. Aged in French oak, it has depth and fine tannins that give it a smooth, lingering finish and the kind of structure that rewards a bit of patience in the glass.
