This is not gel. It's watery and weak. I made cookie frosting and the colour literally leaked right out.

With the colouring gel from another brand, you need two, perhaps 4 drops in a cup of royal icing to get a nice colour. This needs damn near 10 drops. Will not buy again.

I made pink macarons with this gel food colouring and the colour was perfect. I googled the texture of the gel food colouring and this one is not watery at all. If you do get a watery one I suggest sending it back, if you feel it is too watery or you are not sure, compare it to normal food colouring, you will notice the difference of watery vs gel (remember it is not a paste). I bought the electric green, orange, purple and black for an epic Halloween cake. This colour is amazing! Yes, you may need to use more than 3 or 4 drops, but I’m so happy with the colour, it’s so bright and vibrant! So far I’ve made three 4-layer cakes, with black icing, and they’ve come out beautifully. With loads of colour left in the bottle still too.

"Christmas Red" turned out to be coral.. "Electric Green" = light mint green. I'm not sure whether I should have emptied the entire bottle or what but these colours were rather disappointing, especially considering their catchy names -_-

I purchased 6 lustre dust products and they are absolute rubbish. The dust does not attach onto the fondant, and there is actually no lustre to speak of. I wondered why it was selling at 30% discount .... I now know why. Stay away from this brand.
