Extremely good product
After having searched for a SimmerMat everywhere for a gas stove, I found it on Yuppiechef. It is a very good product and works perfectly if you follow the instructions. With gas one can never simmer food at a very low heat, and with this product I am now able to simmer casseroles, etc without any problems.

No more burnt food!
I purchased this product to use with my induction cooker because the settings are finicky and it's almost impossible to simmer over low temperatures (because the cooker cycles on and off). I've burnt a great many things, before using this mat! I was able to slow simmer a lamb curry to perfection with this on my induction cooker. Well worth buying
Using the simmer mat on the gas hob has been a huge success. I was able to simmer soup and a stew without having to constantly stir to avoid it catching on the bottom. A worthwhile purchase.
