Frothing milk with a steam wand is a science and an art, but with the Aerolatte you don't need fancy equipment or a degree in barista-science. Nope, you need a glass of milk (hot or cold), and the Aerolatte. In just a couple of seconds, you can have frothy milk for milkshakes and cappuccinos.

Specifications

Frothing head: A patented design made with food grade 18/8 stainless steel
The motor: Provides the correct torque for frothing, which ensures it's durable and allows for the long life of the motor
Power: The Aerolatte comes with two AA batteries, the battery contacts are zinc coated to prevent rusting

Care Instructions

After careful product testing, milk that is either hot enough or cold enough holds the froth best. Lukewarm or room temperature milk will take a froth, but it melts quite quickly. Fresh milk should be used hot, as it holds the froth the best, while long life milk can be used hot or cold, and froths well at a lower temperature than fresh milk. For the most part, long life milk is preferable, simply because it is easier to froth, however, treated correctly, fresh milk can also be used.

How to clean:

Clean the Aerolatte frother before first use
Operating the frother in hot soapy water and then rinsing it will thoroughly clean the stainless steel whisk and shaft
Switch on for a few seconds to dry
Do not try and pull the rod from the handle as it is firmly attached to the motor
Wipe the handle occasionally with a damp cloth, but do not immerse the handle in water or put the unit in the dishwasher

This is a nice little frother. It gets milk up to a decent froth and as long as your temperature is correct, the froth has some staying power. Just a small problem with battery usage. For some reason mine came with flat batteries (it hardly wanted to start when I took it out of the box) but a new pair got it frothing quickly. Unfortunately the batteries doesn't last very long... I have bought the Bodum Chambord Classic Milk Frother first, however found this quite messy and to me it doesn't froth the milk nicely at all. So I decided to get the Aerolatte Steam Milk Frother, and wow, what a difference in froth. Warm up milk, and then with the frother the milk is frothed in no-time, add coffee and enjoy.

The aerolatte does its job perfectly. The only problem is the cheap looking finish on the handle and it feels like it could come apart in the future although I would have to use it for a bit longer to determine if that is really an issue. Otherwise it is a great product.

The frother works perfect with warm milk etc, but doesn't work with cold milk at all :-(

I don't know what the guy in the video does to make milkshakes from cold milk, but it surely doesn't work like that with mine.

So if you only need it for coffee/warm drinks - this is perfect. Don't think that you'll be making milkshakes for the kiddies from only cold milk.

A very nifty tool for making a quick, mess-free bullet coffee. A must-have for any fellow Banters! Build quality does leave a bit to be desired, but it's good enough for me.

I have used 3 different brands of frothers, the other 2 brands did not last more than 6 months. My previous Aerolatte lasted 2 years and only needed replacement because someone bent the rod with what must have been a measure of force. This replacement is beyond excellent too.

I bought the Aerolatte as a cost-effective alternative to a coffee machine.
It's light, easy to operate and includes batteries so you can start frothing milk right away.

The packaging includes best practice instructions for budding baristas, but experiment on your own to get the foam the way you like it.
