Does the job
I got this glove to use with a mandoline. Hitting a blade while wearing this is a weird feeling - like you bashed your finger against something - but I have not been cut and the glove is still intact. It is comfortable to wear. I give it a quick rinse with dishwashing liquid after use and leave to air-dry.

A mandoline slicer's best friend
I started using a mandoline slicer due to a wrist injury preventing me from holding food down while slicing with a knife. After my husband and I both cut ourselves we got one glove to test it. It works like a charm. Even on the mandoline's shredding setting, an accidental nick is just a tug on the fabric. Red peppers stained the glove a bit, but oxy bleach got it out. I am back for another glove.

Worth buying!
We bought ourselves a really good sharp knife. I should have ordered the cut resistant glove at the same time! We have now bought the glove — after my husband needed 4 stitches on his finger.....

No more tears (or nicks and cuts!)
When grating small quantities of cheese or veg I used to ask my husband to do the dangerous job... out of fear of losing a piece of nail or flesh — no more worries when wearing this glove! Also great when cutting with sharp knives... just wear it on the hand holding whatever you’re cutting or grating! Regularly machine wash and dry.
