Yup, it dries.
This definitely pulls a lot of wter from the air and has been great in the winter for drying clothes inside without them smelling damp. Only complaint is that it's a bit loud, and though it comes with a HEPA filter, I can't seem to find replacements or information on compatible replacements. Will have to cross that bridge when we come to it.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
