CorkPops Wine Bottle Opener

This is the third CorkPops I have purchased - one for myself and the other two were gifts. I love this product. It works exceptionally well and opens old corks that might disintegrate with a normal corkscrew with ease. It is the perfect gift for a gadget/wine lover.

What an awesome opener!

This is the second one of these I am buying from yuppiechef! This time as a gift for my Father-in-law, and I bought extra refills as well just in case. What a great product! Opens any bottle, no matter how old the cork, with ease and no parts of the cork end up in the wine.

I got this as a gift for a friend who was complaining that no one makes a decent bottle opener. This one is the cream of the crop. He is thrilled with his new gadget, and it absolutely does what it says. Simply fabulous.

The easiest and quickest way to open a bottle of wine. If you have difficulty opening your bottles with traditional opener this is the product for you. It is well made, I think it will last, must get some extra gas for it when you purchase it.

What a marvelous gadget! I love the simplicity and ease-of-use. It looks beautiful and is a conversation-piece when opening a bottle of wine with this nifty tool. Does not work that great on old bottles of wine (80's) but works like a charm with the newer wines. A must have!!

We have several older vintages and it was very frustrating opening these bottles as the cork is quite brittle. We always ended up getting only half the cork out and lots of bits and pieces in the wine. Messy.... Now it takes 5 seconds to open these bottles and it works perfectly every time.

There's no other product like it. Use the cutter to remove the foil, penetrate the cork with the syringe, push down on the little gas cylinder, and out pops the cork. Brilliant!

One of the feet things broke early on but we continued to use this opener for years after that. Now the other foot broke but it's still working to get corks out. Even with this design flaw I still won't go back to other openers.

Bought my father one for his sore hands... he loves it.
Bought a friend one after she hurt her hand in an accident... she loves it.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves using it! The cartridge lasts about 50-60 pops. A great gadget for the man who has everything.

I used this on a bottle of Tamboerskloof Wine last night to remove the cork. Instead, the entire bottle exploded! Glass and wine everywhere that took 2 hours to clean up. Plus one large shard of glass cut my leg. I strongly advise against using this item - it can be extremely dangerous. Plus, it cost us a R250 bottle of wine.

Bought this as a gift for my husband, he was extremely excited by it! Works like a charm. Relatively easy to use (need a bit of force to push the needle into the cork). Makes a satisfying pop when the cork comes out. So far 10/10. We’ve opened plenty of bottles since Christmas and have only just needed to replace the cartridge. 20-25 bottles?

This is a must for any wine drinker or aficionado. Super effective for opening any type of wine bottle or cork type used. We are envied by all waitrons when we take ours to a restaurant with our B.Y.O. special bottles. A total hit with everyone witnessing you opening a bottle. My husband loves his and the attention he gets when opening a bottle.

Took a while to get the technique right, but it is a great product. I am yet to use it on one of my older bottles of wine, which is the reason I bought it - so time will tell whether it will hold up to an old cork.

Just a bit disappointed that you can't open a magnum with it.

I would use this product only for very old wines where the cork is suspect. For new corks the effort to get the cork off the needle once extracted kills this product in my opinion.

This device worked beautifully, makes opening a wine bottle quick and fun with a pressure type of cork screw. Sadly though the gas canister ran out after 2 weeks and it can't be used without a new refill canister. It doesn't seem to be worth it in the long run.
