There's a time at every braai where things are heating up, and then suddenly it is dark. Either the sun sets or the crowd of guys around the fire just gets too thick. For those times, to prevent the dreaded burnt chops, whip out the Tonglite. With a centrally mounted light, you can turn it on and point it at the food so you can see it while you flip it.

I can see clearly now :)
The days of holding a torch over the braai meat are over. Tonglite is a simple yet effective set of braai tongs that provides a solution to braaiing in poorly lit areas. Now I can braai my meat without overcooking or burning it. With the days of load shedding upon us, this is a must for those that love braaiing.

Awesome present
I bought this torch braai tongs for a Christmas present this year (2014). Yes I know, very early, but when I got the email from Yuppiechef I liked the idea. I think this is a great tool, especially for those braai masters that like to braai when it is already a bit darker. I'm sure the person that will get this, will love it.

This is our second set! For a "next level" braai.
We had our first set for about 7 years and gave it away (still excellent) to an ex-Saffa who braais often in the Republic of Ireland. We only gave it away because we knew we could replace it. The torch is new and improved, so a bonus with an upgrade on an already amazing set of braai tongs
