WARNING!
After about the 8th use of this casserole, a large 5 rand coin sized piece of enamel came off the inside of the bottom of the pan when washing up. It is now unusable. LK will not replace and say I have used too high a heat which I don't think is true. I own 2 similar Le Creuset pots which I have used for 30 years and have never ever had a problem using the same cooking techniques. You are wasti Read more

Limited lifespan.
I bought this pot 3 years ago. I use it probably once a month. Within the first few months, I noticed that the internal enamel was stained. I cook mostly curries so that's probably understandable. Then after about a year, I noticed the enamel on the bottom of the pot was cracking up, like crazy paving. It did not lift but it was concerning. Impressed!
Happy so far with the look and performance of this local product. Was initially confused as the branding on the lid's handle read 'Chef’, but it appears that Chef is one of LK's product ranges. We opted for this dutch oven after several product testing reviews indicated that less expensive models proved to be just as hardworking and long lasting as the more expensive ones.

Love it!
Already have a 3 litre one of these and they're just so versatile in the kitchen. From straight cooking to baking and roasting. Absolutely love it! The ombre colour is also very cool, bringing a bit of practical trendiness into the kitchen!

Great buy!
I was impressed with the quality, given that the general price of enamel cast iron is quite expensive. This pot does the job, looks great, perfect for straight to table serving. Slightly lighter in weight versus my other cast irons pots but certainly worth the money.
