Absolutely awesome
Nowhere near as delicate as it looks. The glass seems to be high in something that makes it less brittle. I know I will get many years of pleasure out of this decanter.

Great looks, but the bottom fell out of mine!
I have owned the Amadeo for over a year BUT last week, when lifting it from the wooden surface where I have always kept it, the bottom just fell out - spilling red wine everywhere.
I admit that the surface was wet, so perhaps it formed a vacuum that sucked the bottom out. (Photo available!). Reidel have told me that this is not a common occurrence so I am buying another (through Yuppieche Read more

Just pure elegance!
Extremely unique and beautiful decanter. Brilliant design to pour wine with style. Quite steady with the broad base centre of gravity. A real show-stopping piece of art! š
