I BATTLED WITH BLUNT KNIVES FOR SOME TIME AND ALWAYS THOUGHT THE CHEAPER HAND HELD SHARPENERS WERE NOT GOOD. TILL I TRIED THIS LITTLE GEM. IT WORKS REALLY WELL ON THE VICTORINOX SMOOTH BLADED KNIVES. NOW SLICING ROAST BEEF OR CLEANING PINEAPPLES IS A BREEZE.

I was torn between getting the most expensive sharpener or trying a manual little gadget. The cost of this one convinced me to give it a try and boy am I glad. It works wonders on my knives.

This sharpener works exceptionally well, especially with Victorinox knives — both straight and serrated edges. I was considering getting new steak knives but mine are now good as new.
