This long zester, with a premium soft-touch handle and non-scratch end tabs, grates even the hardest Parmesan Reggiano as well as other hard cheeses into fine lacy wisps. Ideal for topping your favourite spaghetti and meatballs or a Caesar salad. It's also wonderful for effortless citrus zesting to add natural flavours to a lemon crème brulee or a basic vinaigrette.

- Dishwasher safe
- We recommend rinsing your grater in warm water immediately after each use
- Remove trapped particles from the non-sharp side whenever possible
- To remove trapped particles on the front, first soak the tool in warm water and then use a cleaning brush to stroke in the same direction as the teeth
- Store with blade covered when not in use

My favourite kitchen tool!
This microplane is fantastic. I use it to grate lemon or orange zest into muffins and parmesan cheese onto pasta - effortless!!

Super sharp and easy to handle
I just zested 2 huge grapefruit with no hassle, it grates away just the thin top layer leaving all the pith behind, and it catches nicely in the curved edges without spilling over onto the counter. Also nice that it comes with a protective sleeve because man that thing is SHARP!

So sharp and efficient
Super sharp — mind your fingers. Works like a bomb. My review is based on lemon zesting but I don't think this zester will battle with hard cheese or whole nutmeg because I didn't have to press the lemon onto the zester...it kind of zested itself, taking off the zest only and not the pith. I am impressed. My only gripe and the reason why I give 4 stars and not 5 is that the handle is not watertigh Read more

Microplane Long Zester
The microplane is a boon in my kitchen. Gone are the days trying to zest citrus peels with a normal grater! Highly recommended to all enthusiastic cooks.

Does the job, however...
Sharp blade, but the product is not without some design flaws. Not the simplest tool to clean and dry.
