Doesn't work for pepper.
Doesn't grind pepper well at all. Grinds a bit stops grinding after one or two turns. If you shake it a bit then it grinds a bit again but stops working.

Our pepper grinder is designed to work best with a few firm turns — sometimes shaking gently in between can help if the peppercorns are larger or uneven in size.
