I have a few cutting boards, but find them too small, big, heavy... This one is perfect. The size is just right; it’s not too heavy and is very reasonably priced.

It seems to make cutting easier as the knife does not get "stuck" in the board and is easy to clean.

This is an awesome chopping board. It is solid, heavy, beautiful and works great. I will definitely recommend this product to anyone, weather you want to use it as a serving board or a chopping board.

Lovely large size. I find it particularly useful to prep veggies and fruit before juicing, as you can chop everything on one board and then start juicing. Also funky look and feel and easy to clean. Lives on my counter top!

This is a straightforward, no-frills board, and all the better for that. It is a good weight and size with a nice smooth finish. If you are serious about food preparation, I very much doubt that you will be disappointed with one of these.

I forgot to mention that this board, unlike one-piece wooden boards, is constructed in such a way that it is very unlikely to warp (a warped board that wobbles and bangs around under my knife drives me crazy!).

Cool bamboo chopping board. It looks great (love the Yuppiechef logo embossed on the corner) it's solid and perfect as an all round kitchen board. The groove on one side makes it great for cutting meat - roast chicken with all the juices especially. The only thing I would mention is that some people may find it too heavy. I'm not sure exactly how much it weighs but it must be 3 or 4kgs.

This board is very easy to chop and carve on and I love that one side has a channel around the edge. No more messy run offs and drips. It makes a handsome serving platter and has my favourite logo on one corner. Hooray for Yuppiechef.

I am so amazed at this product. So easy to cut on, and very user friendly on your knives. Quick to clean, looks good, and "self-healing". Washing instructions should be included in the packaging - especially if given as a gift - not to submerge in water. Sorry I didn't buy one sooner.

It is now coming up to 5 years since I bought one of these boards. It has been used at least twice per day over that period and stood up to intensive work with a serious chef's knife. It has been easy to wash, there are no abrasions and it is still in excellent condition. Its advantages are that it is weighty enough not to move around and high enough to avoid trapping knuckles between a knife handle and the work surface below. I have had two of these boards for many years now and they are in constant use. Either drying at the sink or in use. They are nice and heavy, my sharp knives have not damaged them. They wash well and even colourful food such as berries and aubergine do not stain them. Very happy with them and highly recommend these boards. Recently bought a third one!

This is a great board that's not too heavy and cleans easily.

It's also a good buy if you have a good set of knives as they don't blunt too quickly when cutting on the wood.

I wanted a decently large chopping board but wasn’t sure if I wanted to splurge on a hardwood block before trying out the board’s dimensions and whether bigger would really be better for me. I decided to try this bamboo board and it’s so perfect I think I won’t bother getting a hardwood. It’s thick and wide enough to be useful as a prep surface. It’s light enough to take over to the sink for a cleaning and I think, like any board, if you take care of it and condition it with a board oil/wax it will last a really long time.
