Lovely butter dish
This butter dish holds a 500g block of butter. I really like this butter dish and find it easy to open and close.

Weight of lid.
Porcelain means you can warm or soften the butter in the same dish. It's spacious with a high lid. However, the lid is very heavy and there's no design groove/feature to hold the lid.
