Can't live without it!
This was a replacement. The original one was more than 10 years old (pre-Yuppiechef). I couldn't find it anywhere, except here!! I can't live without one. The best buy!

works well on softer cheese!
This cheese slicer works wonderfully on ordinary cheddar and gouda however not on mature cheddar. Still makes slicing cheese so much easier.

Value for money!
Have had mine for many years. The trick is to make sure that you insert the wire correctly. It has to be as tight as possible to cut perfectly every time. The wire will snap if used on hard cheeses but lasts when used on Gouda and Cheddar, easy to clean and durable.
