Made of clear recycled glass with a slight green tinge, this ingenious wine carafe with a separate ice chamber is ethically handmade in Eswatini.

About Ngwenya Glass
Ngwenya Glass in Eswatini recycles approximately 12 tons of glass per month, which is used to hand-make their 100% recycled glass products. Over 1 ton of waste newspaper is used for packaging material and their greywater and 50 000L rainwater catchments are used in the factory. Almost 10 500L per month of purified old engine oil and KFC oil is used to fuel the furnaces. Additionally, Ngwenya Glass has installed 550 solar panels which subsidise 40% of their electricity usage. For the past 30 years, Ngwenya Glass has paid a percentage of their worldwide sales to the Mkhaya Game Reserve and they also support numerous orphanages and charities in Eswatini and South Africa.

Great product
Excellent quality and so smart! We usually add heaps of ice to cool our wine down — this cooler we have discovered the taste of white wine again when it's not diluted!
Great product. Love that we are supporting a small group of dedicated craftsman rather than a corporate. Also love that it’s made out of recycled glass.

Every home should have one!
Absolutely amazing! Great as a gift to yourself and to others. Unique and there should be at least one in every home. I love using mine for fruit juice at breakfast as well as cooling my red wine without diluting it on hot summer days.
