The water after boiling has a strange plastic taste so tea doesn't taste too good. Will be returning the product.

Got to admit, the rose gold thing is actually quite pretty. Looks really good.
The thing works, it's solid construction, nothing wobbly and boils water rather quickly and quietly. What more exactly one wants out of a kettle I have no idea.

Sturdy, elegant, good pouring spout (most important in a kettle). But it is a tad slow to boil - just over 3 minutes for a litre of tap water. But it is what it is: a working, functional kettle, just as it says on the box. Delivery was great. Yuppiechef are a friendly and efficient team who make online shopping easy.

Being a fan of the glass lit type of kettles - I ventured to new territory as I was tired of replacing cracked and damaged kettles. This kettle looks and feels great, balanced in the hand, it holds a large volume of water and the sound is like a familiar purr. Definitely recommend this one - a friend in the kitchen! :-)

It pours nicely, and refills easily. The lid-opening spring is very weak, so I would not be surprised if the button-lid-open function stops working.
I would have also liked if the kettle was at least somewhat insulated; it loses heat quickly and the steel side can burn you.
