Coffee in chocolate cake?
I don't like coffee, can I leave it out of the recipe?

Yes you can. Coffee is normally used in chocolate cakes to enhance the chocolate flavour. It is optional though. As a substitute you can add an extra teaspoon of vanilla essence.
