Hi, when making smoothies can the Butribullet also handle hard ingredients such as raw carrots, beetroot and ginger? And what happens to the fibres?

What exactly is the difference between the Nutribullet and a juicer?

Thanks!

Hi Tildie,

The Nutribullet is a high speed, high powered blender. Whereas a juice extracts the liquid element from the solid element of fruit and veggies, a blender simply pulverises the whole thing (to a greater or lesser degree) the whole fruit/vegetable.

In the Nutribullet, the fibres are pulverised up with the liquid into a homogenous whole (there is no extraction process and no pulp leftover.

It also comes with a dry blade, so you can also grind seeds and nuts for flours.

I hope that helps!

Bye for now
Sigrid.
