substituting coffee

As I am allergic to coffee I was wondering what I could use as a substitute in the first recipe.

Hi Tracey
I think you could maybe try using a flavoured tea? I don't know which recipe you looking at though, but there are so many wonderfully flavoured teas out there these days that I'm sure you might be able to find one that would add the right kind of flavour to a recipe as a substitute?

Tracey, it depends what the coffee is for. If it's in a chocolate cake or cupcake recipe, you can just substitute water as the coffee is only added to deepen the chocolate flavour.
