Sponge Cake

Hi
I have just finished the cooking class which features the sponge cake.
I was wondering if maybe you have a recipe for a custard icing/filling instead of the butter cream as in the tutorial?
Or anything similar which can be used as icing?

Why not try the custard filling from our custard slices recipe? http://www.yuppiechef.com/spatula/custard-slices/ Ignore the bits about the pastry, and start from step 6. Try and keep the custard mixture in the fridge right up until you need it so that it stays firm. Good luck!
