Really enjoying Tuna nicoise salad at the moment. Lots of fresh tuna available so getting some good steaks isn't too pricey. Quick on the griddle pan and then onto some tossed lettuce leaves, boiled egg, olives, cherry tomatoes and splash of dressing.
I have so many! Steak done medium rare on the braai or griddle if it is raining outside. I serve it in so many ways and with different sauces but one of my fave is thinly sliced on a bed of fresh asian leaves and garden salad ingredients and drizzled with an asian dressing. I adore semi hard boiled or poached eggs with the yolks still a bit runny served with bacon wrapped grilled asparagus, avocado and roasted vine tomatoes....and a slice of toasted home baked banting bread. I love seed crackers with full fat cream cheese mixed with a bit of wasabi or horseradish and served with slivers of avo and smoked salmon strips on top. And then there is the pork belly........oh the pork belly. And rare roast duck breast.....and....and....and....#bantlikeachamp :)
