How to brew tea in a cast iron teapot

Preheat the teapot by swirling hot water inside and the discard
Add loose leaf tea to infuser about 1 tsp per cup or use tea bags
Heat water separately to the right temperature (don't place cast iron teapot directly on a stove)
- Green tea: 70-80°C
- Oolong tea: 80-90°C
- Black tea: 90-100°C
Pour the hot water over the tea and steep for 2-5 minutes
Remove the infuser if used and pour the tea into cups
Rinse the teapot with warm water only, wipe dry and leave the lid off to air dry completely

We are loving this teapot! It makes our tea time that much more enjoyable to steep tea leaves and have a hot pot to serve from. Careful of the lid though - it gets HOT!
