Care Instructions
- Before first use, wash with warm water and a mild detergent
- This product is dishwasher safe but we recommend hand washing with warm water, a mild detergent and a cloth or non-abrasive sponge
- After drying your cookware thoroughly, using a paper towel, wipe the interior with a thin layer of cooking oil before storing
- Using high heat suitable fats and oils will prolong the life of your cookware
- Avoid using cold-pressed oils like olive oil, diet fats and diet margarine
- Don't overheat your cookware for prolonged periods of time as the oil or fat will burn and leave a black residue which could damage the non-stick coating
- To prevent scratching, don’t use metal utensils or knives in your AMT Gastroguss cookware
- Don’t slide your cookware over your stove range
- After use, the surface might change to a light brown colour — this is normal and shouldn't be removed with steel wool or scouring agent

The true test of a good non-stick pan is it's ability to stay non-stick well beyond the early use stages. I use this pan on most mornings to make my bacon and egg breakfast. I cook the bacon with no oil and because of the excellent heat retention, I am able to make perfect scrambled eggs using the residual heat with absolutely no sticking. The pan cleans extremely well with a warm water rinse, no cleaning agent required. Read more

I absolutely LOVE this pan. Nothing sticks to it and it is soooo easy to cook with. Be sure to use the proper utensils however and to clean correctly!

Disappointing durability

I bought this 2 years ago (just outside the warranty period) and like clockwork, all of the non-stick coating is bubbling and chipping off. I took good care of my pan, oiling between uses and washing with gentle soap and water. Very disappointing to spend this much money on a pan and have it last for such a short period of time. Think twice before buying.

I have used many pans, and always wanted to get this one since it's the "Best pan in the world". I had a swiss diamond 20cm that had a so-called lifetime warranty, which vanished with them when they left the country.
Upon first use, it looked and felt like the proper thing. But then when slow cooking an egg on the pan, it sticks. I tried many things, like oil, avo oil, butter, canola oil, lard etc. It always sticks but on a certain area. so only roughly half of the pan is usable.
I am in the process of returning the pan or have it swapped out because it might be faulty from the factory. But it has been a week and I have not had one reply from Yuppiechef either. Read more

When i think of all the money I have wasted on frying pans which are non stick and do nothing but stick I could weep - this one is worth every cent, it is nothing short of fantastic. Cooks evenly, easy to clean, I would definitely recommend this product - no wonder it is called the worlds best pan!!! Just love it.

This is the best pan I have ever used. I know it sounds a bit over the top but I'm not even joking.
The heat distribution is absolutely perfect and the fact that it basically cleans itself is just a pleasure. It has a flawless non stick surface that I can't even get caramel to stick to. This is the only pan that you need in your kitchen.

I was so tired of buying frying pans and after a few months their non stick coatings start to peel and everything starts sticking to the pan. This pan is absolutely amazing. No sticking and no peeling, and it maintains its heat evenly. Such fantastic quality, I bought 2 - I think that says it all.

There is no debating that nothing comes close to "World's Best Pan". The quality is exceptional - what you would expect from German engineering ;-) I now own two pans (different sizes) and will never buy another brand. Treat yourself, you won't regret it.

I was a bit reluctant to purchase a product that claims it's the best in the world but I can safely say it's certainly the best pan in my home. I love its weight and density and how evenly it distributes the heat. No uneven cooking and super easy to clean which is a bonus! Definitely one of my best purchases to date.

The best EVER. I melted a tiny block of cheese, removed and wiped down with a piece of kitchen towel.......popped my egg in and once it was fried, it slipped onto the plate!

This is a fabulous frying pan! The 24cm is perfect for pancakes and omlettes, amongst other things. Previously I had always bought Scanpan non-stick frying pans, so this is a new brand to me. It's heavier than a Scanpan, and does take longer to heat up, but once hot, retains it's heat well and the end food result is great.

After a lot of research we bought two of the AMT range. Browns equally and perfectly. The non-stick coating is the best I have used. This really is a top end pan range and you would be hard-pressed to improve on this at any price. Highly recommended.

Very hardy, I bought this for my 4x4 kitchen for when we go overlanding through Africa. Expensive but incredibly strong and easy to keep clean. I would highly recommend it.

This pan is amazing. Easy to clean and non-stick. I cannot be happier and going to invest in a few more. We followed the instructions of wiping it down with oil before using it for the first time and I think a lot of people don't read these instructions and then wonder why their pans don't work properly. We also do not put it under water whilst still hot... another instruction which many do not follow but if you do your pan will last you for many years. I am very happy. Read more

A fitting name for a stunning product!!! Every kitchen should have one. I opted for the 32cm (big) and it is so practical for preparing large quantities of meat or bacon and eggs.

I only use these pans- they are heavy-bottomed so don't easily burn and the non-stick finish lasts for years.
This is the perfect size for dinner for two and I used my last one almost every night. I'm very glad to have a second one.

When I bought this product I was delighted with it and thought I finally found the best non-stick pan. I treated it with love and care. However, after about a year the non-stick coating started making tiny bubbles which then started peeling in places. This is happening on the bottom as well as the rim of the pan. I can no longer use this pan. Disappointing, especially as I initially recommended it to others. Read more

This is a seriously good pan. Had the Jan pan before this and it was horrible — after first use it had egg stuck to it. This one has been used multiple times and it looks like it will last for decades! Seriously good pan and would highly recommend.

On first inspection these pans (I bought two) are great. They are non-stick, sturdy, and as it says on the packaging, it would make a good weapon. They are a dream to cook with.
I couldn't understand why my dishwasher was being stained. I took out one of the pans (that was slightly damp) and dried it with a cloth, only to find that the base of the pan was covered with a black substance, which was now on my dish towel and all over the interior of my dishwasher.
I purchased these in March (if I'm not mistaken - it's now November), and my dishwasher is still blackened, but all the gunk on the back of the pans has been washed off.
Now I'm happy with the pans.
But won't order them again. Read more
