This was a good buy!
This is a very nice and quiet fan. I needed one that reaches the whole room but doesn’t make too much noise. It is quite short but sturdy and is much more stable than other tower fans that I have seen. It has a remote which is a nice extra. I would buy it again if I needed another fan. It has 3 settings and can stand still or oscillate.

Suppliers seem to have some quality control issues
I ordered 2 of these. 1 works perfectly, but the other makes an awful buzzing / whirring noise when turned on (specifically on the oscillating mode). The one that actually works is very nice, but the other is incredibly annoying and distracting. If the suppliers are able to sort out the quality control issues, I would definitely recommend this.

Wouldn't recommend as an air cooler.
The fan only cools air directly where it's facing in the room. It doesn't change the room air temperature and the fan air temperature isn't cold air at all.

Such a great purchase.
So grateful I bought this when I did. My parents especially love it because it doesn't make a sound. You can't hear it but you can definitely feel the air getting cooler.
